A land ethic is a philosophy or theoretical framework about how, ethically, humans should regard the land. The term was coined by Aldo Leopold (–) in his A Sand County Almanac (), a classic text of the environmental movement. There he argues that there is a critical need for a "new ethic," an "ethic dealing with human's relation to land and to the animals and plants which grow. Steve advises government agencies and non-profits on leveraging donation of land acquisition dollars. Please visit the Law Office of Stephen J. Small, Esq., P.C., website for further information. Steve wrote the original Preserving Family Lands twenty-five years ago as a “primer” about conservation easements and the related tax issues for landowners, their advisors, and land trusts; this new book moves the business in dramatic and necessary new directions.

One thing it talks about - is having a corporate entity like an LLC own the Land Trust for further protection. It points out some contradictions in law and has loads of sample forms in the back. I only found some typos - very minor.
